As admission to a hospital is a new experience for some, it is always worthwhile to be prepared.  Here is a guide to assist you.

 

TO DO :-

For your convenience, you may wish to bring along the following items:

· Personal Toiletries such as toothbrush & toothpaste, toiletries, sanitary pads, towel, comb, bathroom slippers.

· Personal Effects; i.e. identity card or other identification documents, copies of previous medical records.

 

NOT TO DO :-

· To avoid any untoward incidents, you are advised not to wear or bring excessive jewellery and cash.

· To refrain from using electrical appliances such as electrical fans, kettles and cookers.

· Not to use hand phones in critical areas.

 

VALUABLES :-

The management of KMC will not be held liable for any lost of personal belongings left in the room.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE :-

During hospitalization, complementary meals  for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner will be served to patients.

 

NON-SMOKING POLICY

Non-smoking policy is practiced, compliance with Ministry of Health Regulations. Smoking in the hospital area is prohibited for the benefits of your health as well as for the comfort of others. Smoking in your room, toilet or anywhere in the building may also trigger the fire alarm.

 

VISITING HOURS

Visitors are welcome at the stated visiting hours to ensure that patients receive maximum rest during their stay and treatment at our hospital. Visitors with small children are kindly advised that their children do not disturb the privacy of our patients. 

Visitors are therefore advised to observe the following visiting hours:

                                                   12.00 noon – 2.00 pm

06.00 pm – 9.00 pm
